Fans of the classic Christmas film “Home Alone” from 1990 were quite excited after watching a trailer posted on YouTube for a supposed third installment in the story of Kevin McCallister, portrayed by Macaulay Culkin.

In the fake trailer, the adult protagonist is seen, 30 years having passed since the events in “Home Alone 2: Lost in New York.” And of course, this time wouldn’t be any different: Kevin faces the Wet Bandits for one last opportunity.

“In this festive season, it’s time to rediscover a classic. Kevin McAllister is back—except this family gets a little weird around Christmas,” begins the narration of the trailer.

Unfortunately, the trailer is fake and was produced using many clips taken from excerpts of television shows, movies, and commercials. Based on this, fans of the film and other viewers expressed their wish that the fake film becomes a real one.
