Jennifer Love Hewitt recently commented on an episode of the “Inside of You” podcast about the hate and prejudiced comments she received on social media after revealing a new haircut. She shared that she felt like she “couldn’t do anything right” when it came to aging in the public eye.

The actress recently posted a photo showing her new haircut with much shorter locks. Subsequently, the now-deleted post received various comments questioning whether she had undergone plastic surgery and claiming that she was “unrecognizable.”

She also shared the experience of experimenting with filters, and in some cases, even going so far as to exaggerate the use of filters to mock the demand for perfection in shared photos. However, she realized that nothing would be sufficient in the face of criticism and judgments from followers.

When asked by the interviewer why she paid attention to this type of comment, Hewitt explained that in Hollywood, you “have to care about what people think of you” and how difficult it is for celebrities to change or age. Additionally, many fans also defended the actress against inappropriate comments.
