Florencia Guiñazú, 30 years old and mother of two children, was tragically murdered in her residence in the department of Guaymallén, Mendoza, by her 32-year-old partner, Ignacio Agustín Noto, who after the crime took his own life, as confirmed by official sources.
The horrendous act occurred on Saturday afternoon, in a room of the house, while the couple’s eldest son, 7, was playing PlayStation in another room, oblivious to the tragedy unfolding. The autopsy performed on Sunday revealed that Guiñazú was killed by suffocation and strangulation, detailing a scenario of domestic violence that culminated in the crime.

Neighbors were alerted to the situation by a message written by Noto on one of the house’s windows, asking them to call 112 because the children were alone, a warning that preceded his own suicide.
Guiñazú, described as a tattoo artist and student of Health and Safety at Work, was very active on social media, where she shared aspects of her professional and personal life.
Additionally, she was a model and worked for different brands. On her Instagram account, Florencia had over 24,000 followers.
Her death, committed in the presence of her children, deeply shook the local community and the country, highlighting the persistent issue of violence against women.
The Club Atlético Argentino de Mendoza, where Guiñazú was an athlete, expressed its pain and solidarity with the bereaved family through a Facebook post, underscoring the impact of the loss on the entire sports community.
