A nomadic couple is gaining a fan base on social media by showcasing their everyday life living in a cozy bus.

Amanda and Owen have been on the road for three years, spending their time “living as nomads.” They reside in an old school bus that has been renovated to include all basic necessities, such as a large double bed, a functional bathroom, and even a mini kitchen.

The two lived with Amanda’s parents for two years, trying to save money to get married. However, when the coronavirus pandemic started, they were forced to cancel their plans. Without a roof over their heads, they realized they were “nowhere near close enough” to be able to buy a house.

But even though they didn’t have the money to buy a house, they realized they could buy a bus. “Now we’re traveling the country living without paying rent and slowly saving up to buy a house somewhere one day, but for now, there’s nowhere we’d rather be,” they wrote on social media.

The bus is large enough to accommodate the couple’s two dogs, but it’s the views the bus offers that the couple truly loves. “There are so many amazing things about living in the bus, but having 360-degree views all the time is one of the best,” Owen added.

On their TikTok profile, where they have over 90,000 followers, they revealed their expenses living in the bus. When it comes to laundry, they take dirty clothes, towels, and sheets to a laundromat, which costs $20.

They revealed they don’t need to pay for water, as it’s free to empty and fill the tank at trailer parking lots. When it comes to gasoline, they spend around $123. The couple also emphasized that they both work full-time remote jobs.

In the comments on their videos, they receive much praise for their enviable lifestyle. “I want this to be my life,” commented one TikTok user. “Living my dream,” admitted another internet user.
