The YouTube channel Machina has published a documentary showing how a vape factory in China operates. The video went viral on social media after people discovered that a worker tests over 10,000 vapes a day.
The factory visited is located in Baoan, Shenzhen, China. They produce disposable vapes, and the video shows all the manufacturing processes.
Initially, pressure is applied to the bottom of the vape, causing vapor to escape from the mouthpiece. Then, a tube simulates how a person would use the product.
Finally, a worker manually tests all the vapes, puffing on each one individually. The documentarian asked the man how many vapes he smokes a day. “Approximately 8,000 to 10,000,” not counting those he smokes outside of working hours.
According to the electronic vape company, each unit contains 10 ml of nicotine liquid, equivalent to 3,000 puffs.
