The 25-year-old model has previously admitted she “doesn’t mind” not having a fixed roof over her head. Emily has struggled to find housing, so she packed her belongings into her car and lived there for a while.
Emily, a content creator, shared that she used the dating app Hinge to avoid sleeping in her car. This is because she meets men on the app who are willing to offer her shelter, even though she doesn’t disclose her financial situation to them.
“I can’t believe I’ve wasted so much money on rent all this time. Life hack: if you’re beautiful, you never have to pay rent. I use dating apps to find places to stay from different men, and it surprisingly works well,” she told News.au.
“I usually don’t tell them about it. I don’t want to pressure anyone. I don’t need to stay long on the Gold Coast, where I have so many friends, but I don’t want to be a burden to them, although I don’t mind being a burden to random men.”
Recently, she shared on her TikTok profile that not everyone was enthusiastic about her bold strategy. She revealed that some men noticed she was “using” them, so she decided to stop using the Hinge app as a way to find accommodation for a few nights.
