Holle was shot in the leg by her ex-partner – distressing images showed the couple hiding from the shooter moments before he turned the gun on himself.

Her ex, known as Conrad, shot through the building’s door, hitting Peno in the leg, shortly after noon. She had recently ended their 11-year relationship, claiming he had been abusive.
Holle posted images of her bloodied leg with the bullet still lodged inside. She was also injured by glass shards.
The couple ran to the balcony of the residence while calling the police. Avallone posted a video showing the suspect trying to break down the door of their house – before shooting himself when the police arrived.
Conrad died from a self-inflicted gunshot wound, the police confirmed.
