Inspired by the theme that Unidos de Vila Maria will bring to the carnival, ‘Forged in Battle, Guided in Courage and Syncretized in Faith: Vila Sings to Ogum!’, Savia David appeared wearing a set of a mini skirt and blue top, adorned with approximately eight thousand beads, alluding to guides and strands of beads.

Known for her emblematic costumes, Savia David brings a look filled with ‘Beads of Ogum’ symbols. The Queen of the Drum of Unidos de Vila Maria for nearly seven years, she was one of the highlights of the night at the mini parades of São Paulo’s associations.

The event took place this Saturday, the 2nd, and officially marked the celebration of the ‘National Samba Day’, as well as serving as a stage for the launch of the Samba Enredos for Carnival SP 2024.

The look, designed by Edson Fabrício’s atelier, also daringly incorporated transparency, offering a glimpse of her prominent 106 cm behind.

“It’s a beautiful and highly representative costume,” explained Savia, who promises to make quite an impression with her looks up to the carnival.
