In addition, she has also become the “woman with the most body modifications” in history as part of a decade-long project. With 99.98% of her body tattooed, she has even tattooed her eyeballs and injected scale-like implants into her scalp.
“I think it’s obvious that I’m not trying to adhere to traditional beauty standards, and that can be liberating and also something that many people don’t understand and can be negative about,” Fuerzina told Guinness World Records.
The former military explained that her body represents a moving canvas that follows the theme of “turning darkness into beauty” and her art includes ink on her tongue, gums, and even in her intimate area.
In addition to tattoos, Fuerzina also boasts 89 body modifications, including 15 subdermal implants, a split tongue, removal of some body parts, and 18 piercings in the intimate area.
According to the new record-holder, her path to becoming a title winner was nothing more than a coincidence, as she had already been modifying and tattooing her body for over a decade when a friend told her she could break the world record.
“I wanted to try to show the strength of women and what is possible, by applying for the record myself,” she explained. “As for my covered body, it’s still hard to imagine a definite end. Of course, I’m not finished yet.”
