Love Island star Maya Jama shone again by appearing in a white crochet mini dress in the first episode of the new series. While the attention was supposed to be on the contestants, especially with Joey Essex’s entry into the villa, it was Maya who truly caught the eye.

Maya Jama, known for her impressive fashion choices on Love Island, did not disappoint this time. She wore a white crochet mini dress from the British-Ghanaian brand Korlekie, specifically the ‘Otufu’ model, custom-made and available for £464 on the brand’s website. Fans quickly praised Maya’s choice on social media, with one commenting, “Amazing, I just want to buy the dress,” while another wrote, “She looks amazing in it. You did really well.”
In addition to the crochet dress, Maya also showcased a custom-made leather dress created by stylist Genevieve Devine, who shared pictures of the piece on her Instagram stories. Devine’s work is known for reviving and celebrating the past life of found materials, reshaping them into new articles with an idiosyncratic approach that combines conceptual reimagining, careful handwork, and fine details.
This isn’t the first time Maya Jama has impressed with her fashion choices on Love Island. Last year, she opted for stunning outfits, including a blue Balmain dress with cutouts and a Jean Paul Gaultier dress from a 1999 collection in the series’ first “Aftersun” show.
