In a surprising twist, 29-year-old American Savana Chapin and her 22-year-old stepdaughter Tizzi are causing a stir on social media as they are often mistaken for twin sisters.

Savana, married to 44-year-old beauty salon owner Chris Chapin, revealed that people are often shocked to discover that she is only seven years older than her stepdaughter. The couple met at Chris’s beauty salon, where Savana applied for a job shortly after Chris went through a divorce.
The relationship between Savana and Chris, despite the 16-year age difference, quickly blossomed. They married and had children together, but not without initial concerns from young Tizzi about the close age gap between her and her new stepmother.
In an emotional video on YouTube, Savana shared her initial experiences with Tizzi, admitting that the young woman was initially uncomfortable with the situation. “I know if I were Tizzi’s age and my dad came home with a girl closer to me in age than him, I probably would have made fun of her,” said Savana.
However, over time, Savana and Tizzi developed an extremely close bond, to the point of calling themselves “besties” (best friends) and frequently appearing together in dance videos on TikTok. One such video, which received over 700 likes, shows the duo joyfully sharing about being stepmother and stepdaughter.
The video titled “In case you didn’t know, now you do” and another clip where Savana declares “Now we’re best friends and she’s my right-hand woman,” caught the attention of TikTok users, many of whom expressed surprise and admiration for the pair’s resemblance and closeness.
