Becky Holt, the UK’s most tattooed woman, surprised her followers by sharing her most painful tattoo to date: a detailed artwork done on the palm of her hand.
“Brutal session. Four hours on this one. 7 [hours] in total so far. One more and it will be finished. The most painful of my tattoos, but it was worth it,” she wrote in the caption of the post, which has already garnered over 1,500 likes.
In the comments, she received many compliments for the bold tattoo. “Wow, it looks amazing,” said one follower. “It’s beautiful,” commented another. “Oh, I love it,” stated a third fan. “I’m so scared to do this,” admitted another.
Recently, during a Q&A session with her followers, she revealed that she does not plan to tattoo the soles of her feet, as that area is impractical and the pain would be intense. Now 34 years old, Becky began getting tattoos at age 15 and has already spent around $44,700 on her passion.
With about 95% of her body tattooed, she says she believes the tattoos have been a good investment, as they have led to various modeling jobs and brand collaborations.
“As soon as I started, I just couldn’t stop. In fact, I said I’d never tattoo my hands, neck, and face, but then I ran out of space and ended up tattooing all the places I said I wouldn’t. Now I’ve built a career out of it,” she told the Daily Star.
