After fighting liver cancer for seven years, TikToker Rachel Yaffe has passed away at the age of 27. She made a heartfelt post before her passing.

Rachel Yaffe, 27, died last Friday (11) after a seven-year battle with liver cancer. The TikToker shared updates on her fight against the illness on her social media.

Rachel, from Lutherville, Maryland, USA, had an extremely rare form of liver cancer that typically affects young adults. She was diagnosed at the age of 20.

She was able to remove the tumor, but a few months later, it had spread again to her liver and lungs.

Rachel made a touching post on Instagram and TikTok to over 54,000 followers.

“It has been so hard for me to get up and force myself to move, so I’m working on that; luckily, it’s easier to walk around here in the city,” she said after returning to her apartment in New York.

“Sometimes my appetite is really low, so it’s been a bit difficult, both physically and mentally, but I’m focusing on the little things that bring me joy and really prioritizing my mental health as well,” she reported.

Rachel Yaffe is survived by her parents, Linda (née Bass) and Wayne Yaffe, siblings Jordan Yaffe and Jessica Yaffe, grandmother Sydney Bass, and her beloved dog, Layla.
