Tulisa Contostavlos posted a video showing off her new lip tattoo in preparation for her rumored appearance on the reality show I’m A Celebrity.
“I tattooed my lips to match my eyebrows, I couldn’t resist. They are swollen, but they will go down and the color will fade,” she added, thanking the clinic responsible for the procedure.
Recently, the 36-year-old British singer appeared on the So Wrong, It’s Right podcast with Olivia Attwood to talk about the plastic surgery rumors that have surrounded her over the years. According to her, the media always claimed she had done something, but her first plastic surgery was only recent.
“I had never talked about this before. To be fair, I hadn’t done any surgery until – confession – recently. And all the time before, there was no surgery – it was just fillers and other issues I had,” she explained to the Love Island reality star.
She then revealed that the change in her appearance was caused by a health condition she had never disclosed. “When I was about 24 years old, I had my first Bell’s palsy attack, I was sitting at home and had this huge, explosive inflammation,” the singer shared, explaining that the inflammation made her feel dizzy.
Bell’s palsy is described by the NHS (National Health Service) as a neurological condition that can cause temporary facial paralysis. During her first attack, Tulisa explained she had to receive steroid injections and part of her face drooped, which was so upsetting for her that she stayed home for seven months.
