Russia has witnessed another mysterious death. Last Friday, 23rd, the vice-president of Loko-Bank, Kristina Baikova, died after falling from the window of her 11th-floor apartment in Moscow. The information was reported by the British newspaper The Sun.
The police are investigating the case. So far, it is known that Kristina was with a friend at the time of the incident.
This friend, identified as Andrei, 34, told the police that Kristina had invited him for a drink and conversation in her apartment. However, around 3 a.m., she went to the balcony and fell from the window.
Andrei called an ambulance, but the woman died at the scene of the fall.
Mysterious deaths of Russian millionaires
Last year, several mysterious deaths involving Russian millionaires were reported.
In December 2022, deputy Pavel Antov was found dead in a hotel in India, also after falling from a window.
In September, Ravil Maganov, the president of an oil company, died after falling from a hospital window at the age of 64. Both were critics of Vladimir Putin’s decision to invade Ukraine.
Before that, in April, Igor Shkurko, 49, the vice-director of an energy company, was found dead in a cell. He had been arrested on charges of accepting bribes.
In May 2022, minister Petr Kucherenko, 46, also died suddenly on a flight back to Moscow after falling ill during a trip to Cuba.
