Kevin Taylor, 49, went viral on social media after getting a tattoo to secure a free meal every day at the Chip&Go fries restaurant located in Bolton, Greater Manchester, UK. The idea came from the restaurant’s chef, Sebastian Coman, 36.
Coman told the Daily Star that he was excited about the compliments he received and decided to propose a challenge to his most frequent customers. “They will receive a meal every day when our door is open,” explained the chef.
The restaurant owner said that only five people will be able to get the lifetime passes. Kevin Taylor stated that he has no regrets about getting the tattoo.
“I will save $412 a year, so when you think about it, the tattoo isn’t so bad. The tattoo cost $78, so it’s really worth it.”
“Sebastian always changes the menu. My all-time favorite dish is an Asian street food, but it’s not on the menu right now,” Kevin said, stating that Chip&Go is his “favorite place.”
Coman assured that any item on the menu will be available for the meals “as long as the doors are open.” If the price increases, the passes will not be affected.
