Jae’lynn criticized Seattle-Tacoma International Airport for “discrimination” after an employee allegedly forced her to leave her wheelchair and walk through the plane aisle to her seat.
The influencer stated she was made to walk across “one of the longest boarding bridges [she] encountered” and that by the time she was allowed to reach her wheelchair and sit down, her lips turned white as her oxygen levels dropped.
“This is discrimination, no one should be treated this way,” she said at the time, sharing that she started a petition to ensure airline staff receive “sensitivity training.” So far, the petition has garnered nearly 40,000 signatures towards its 50,000 goal.
Recently, she has been involved in another controversy after arguing that pools without railings are not accessible to fat people. “Accessibility is not optional. Make railings mandatory in all pools for swimmers of all sizes and abilities.”
