After 246 days as a Hamas hostage, Noa Argamani, 26, was freed and held a party last Friday (23) to “celebrate life.” She made a plea for the release of the other hostages.
“It is not ideal that we are having this party while there is still an ongoing war,” she said in a video posted on social media. Argamani’s boyfriend, Avinatan Or, is one of the 109 hostages still in Gaza.
“To remind us that we should appreciate every day in this life, we need to celebrate every moment that we are here,” Argamani emphasized. She was dancing with her father Yaakov at the party.
She also used the party to honor her mother, Liora, who passed away from a brain tumor.
Argamani was taken hostage during the attack on October 7 that killed 364 people at a rave. She was released in an operation on June 8. At a G7 summit in Tokyo, she said it was a “miracle” that she survived.
