Nicole Kidman shared that she got so “excited” during the filming of a bold scene that she had to ask for a break.

According to The Sun, the 57-year-old actress, who stars in the new film Babygirl alongside actors Harris Dickinson, 28, and Antonio Banderas, 64, felt that the bold scenes were “too much” to handle.
“There was an enormous amount of sharing and trust and then frustration. It’s like: ‘Don’t touch me.’ There were moments when we were filming and I thought: ‘I don’t want to [reach a climax] anymore,’” Kidman said.
“Don’t come near me. I hate doing this. I don’t care if I never get touched again in my life! I’ve already been through that. It was so present for me all the time that it was almost like burnout,” she continued.
In Vanity Fair, Kidman admitted that Babygirl is the most “exposed” project she has ever worked on and wasn’t sure if she would have the “courage” to watch the film again.
“This is something you do and hide in your home videos. It’s not something that will normally be seen by the world. I felt very exposed as an actress, as a woman, as a human being.”
“This [film] definitely leaves me exposed, vulnerable, scared, and all those things when it’s given to the world, but doing it with these people here was delicate and intimate. Now [pre-release], we’re all a little nervous,” the actress shared, praising the work of director Halina Reijn.
“[It’s a] story of a woman […] told by a woman through her lens. That is, for me, what made it so unique because suddenly I would be in the hands of a woman with this material. It was very dear to our shared instincts and very liberating,” Kidman added.
Nicole has been married to country singer Keith Urban, 56, for 18 years. The couple has two daughters together: Sunday Rose, 15, and Faith Margaret, 13.
