In the new season of Netflix’s talk show “My Next Guest Needs No Introduction,” Miley Cyrus revealed a controversial reason for not going out with other celebrities.
Singer Miley Cyrus revealed to David Letterman on Netflix’s “My Next Guest Needs No Introduction” that she does not go out with other celebrities. She said “I just don’t feel like myself when I’m in that room”.
Despite being the daughter of famous singer Billy Ray Cyrus, Miley prefers not to spend time with many celebrities. “There are certain artists like Beyoncé, whom we’ve known each other for a long time”, she revealed.
Miley featured in the song “II Most Wanted” on Beyoncé’s latest release “Cowboy Carter”. She posted a message thanking Beyoncé for their friendship.
“I’ve loved Beyoncé long before I had the chance to meet her and work with her. My admiration is even deeper now that I’ve created alongside her”, she wrote.
Miley recalled recording the song “Just Stand Up” for the Stand Up To Cancer organization alongside Beyoncé, Rihanna, and other major music figures in 2008.
“I was very young, had acne, wore braces, and stood next to Mariah Carey, who was covered in diamonds. And Beyoncé was very kind to me”, she recounted.
“So I’m part of my community in that way, but again, it’s all about quality, not quantity. I’m not very active in that”, Miley explained, saying her friendships are based on “consistency and kindness”.
