June “Mama June” Shannon, participant in “Here Comes Honey Boo Boo,” denied using drugs during a recent TikTok Live video, where she stated, “I’ve been sober since January 27, 2020… I don’t use drugs, I don’t smoke cigarettes, and I don’t drink,” revealed to TVZ.

Some people were speaking negatively about her while she bent down, out of the camera’s view in the video, and wiped her nose. However, in an interview with TMZ, the reality star said she was only “preparing food” and “bending down to be able to read the comments coming her way.”

Mama June also shared that she is blind in her right eye, making it more challenging for her to read, and that she undergoes weekly toxicology tests, a requirement for her current reality show, “Mama June: From Not to Hot.” According to her: “That doesn’t keep me clean, I keep myself clean.”

Substance abuse issues began in March 2019, until she and her then-boyfriend Geno Doak spent nearly $1 million on “drugs” during the peak of her drug addiction. However, she entered rehabilitation and celebrated her sobriety.
