According to a report from The Guardian, filed on Wednesday (29) in Los Angeles, Justen Lipeles makes a series of allegations regarding her concert on March 7th at the Kia Forum. Additionally, the concert’s promoter, Live Nation, is mentioned alongside Madonna as a co-defendant.
Lipeles purchased four tickets at $500 each, stating that the show would start at 8:30 PM. Lipeles’ lawsuit claims the show only started at 10:00 PM and that “the defendants did not notify the plaintiff that the show would start later.”
In the lawsuit, he also claimed that “the temperature inside the Kia Forum was uncomfortably high, as required by Madonna, who refused to allow the air conditioning to be turned on.” Lipeles said he was “sweating profusely and physically sick from the heat” and that “when fans complained about the heat, Madonna told them to take their clothes off.”
In addition to accusing her of using playback, Lipeles is also suing the singer for breach of contract, false statements by negligence, unfair competition, misleading advertising, and emotional distress.
