Mina Caputo, lead singer of the rock band Life of Agony, announced on her social media that she will reverse her gender transition after coming out as transgender more than 10 years ago.

At 50 years old, Mina Caputo decided to reverse her gender transition. The lead singer of the rock band Life of Agony said she “overcame her gender dysphoria” and has already started the process.

“My surgery to remove my fake breasts is already scheduled, and I will live lovingly in my divine male self,” the singer said in an Instagram video, according to the Daily Mail.

“It took many years, a true ‘walk through fire,’ but I have overcome the misunderstandings about my soul and my spirit,” she shared.

Caputo was born Keith in December 1973 and began identifying as Mina in 2008, publicly coming out as transgender in 2011.

In an Instagram video, Caputo responded to follower comments about her appearance.

“Darling, I am a man, I’ve always been. You’re not used to hearing authentic people speak, only hearing lies about identity,” she said, concluding that the reversal process will be completed in 2025.
