“She fell onto a hard and slippery area of rocks, falling 90 meters into the valley and could not be immediately located,” a rescuer told The Economic Times.
The rescue operation, which involved several agencies, lasted about six hours. When Kamdar was rescued, she was conscious and was connected to a ventilator, but unfortunately, she passed away at the Government Hospital of Mangaon Taluka later in the afternoon, the report said.
