Streamer Norme, known for his daring live broadcasts, went viral after attempting to break the world record for the longest time without sleep, staying awake for an impressive 264 hours and 56 minutes.

The record was set in 1986 by Robert McDonald, who stayed awake for 453 hours. Norme decided to try to break this record, even though Guinness World Records stopped monitoring this category in 1997 due to health risks.
However, his attempt was not without obstacles. He was banned from YouTube and Kick and was only able to continue his broadcast on the controversial platform Rumble. Additionally, emergency services were called to his home to check his condition during the live stream.
Norme eventually ended his broadcast last Sunday (11) after more than 11 days without sleep. On social media, the streamer promised to resume his broadcasts on Twitch once he recovered from the intense challenge.
