Johnny Wactor, known for his role in the soap opera “General Hospital“, was shot and killed in Los Angeles early this Saturday during a failed car robbery attempt, according to a report.

Wactor, 37, was fatally shot as he and a colleague encountered three suspects allegedly trying to steal a catalytic converter from his car, TMZ reported, citing Wactor’s mother and the police.
The grieving mother, Scarlett Wactor, reported that she was informed by authorities that although her son did not react when he confronted the suspects, the men still shot him before fleeing, as reported by the outlet.
Wactor was declared dead at the hospital after 3 AM, according to KTLA.
As of Sunday afternoon, no suspects had been arrested.
Johnny Wactor is best known for playing Brando Corbin in 164 episodes of the soap opera “General Hospital” between 2020 and 2022, according to his IMDb profile. He also appeared in the supernatural drama “Siberia” and an episode of “Criminal Minds”.
