Social media has been a platform for intense speculation about the health of King Charles, fueled by observations of flags at half-mast on government buildings.
Despite rumors of the possible death of the monarch, the Royal Family has not confirmed such claims.

Recently, attention has turned to the king’s health after he underwent prostate surgery at the London Clinic. During the procedure, doctors identified an “additional concerning issue,” leading to a diagnosis of cancer for King Charles. However, Buckingham Palace clarified that the surgery was not related to prostate cancer, and that the king does not suffer from this specific condition. Following medical advice, Charles has limited some of his public engagements but has continued to hold regular meetings with Prime Minister Rishi Sunak.
On March 15, Charles was seen leaving Windsor Castle after the death of a close friend, Ian Farquhar, in Highgrove. Earlier on March 14, he met with Jamaica’s High Commissioner and his wife at Buckingham Palace and held a video conference with Canadian Prime Minister Justin Trudeau, as well as met with ambassadors from Algeria and Mauritania.

Users shared observations about flags at half-mast and speculated on possible reasons, including the death of Charles, his abdication, or even the death of Kate Middleton. “The streets are saying King Charles is dead?” asked one user, reflecting an atmosphere of uncertainty and conspiracy theories surrounding the British monarchy currently.
