The official cause of death for the eldest son of Dana Carvey, Dex, has been revealed.
The aspiring comedian died suddenly on November 15, 2023. He was 32 years old.
The Los Angeles County Coroner’s Office confirmed on Tuesday that Dex Carvey died from a lethal combination of fentanyl, ketamine, and cocaine.
His death is listed as accidental, according to the report.
Dex Carvey was an aspiring comedian, with his most notable show being the opening act for his father’s 2016 Netflix special, “Straight White Male.”
