The 52-year-old actress spoke to People and mentioned that she is in a “gray area” after completing her treatment. “[I’m] waiting for more images and, who knows, maybe a surgery,” she said.

“And there is a lot of waiting involved, and it’s something I really didn’t realize and that no one really talks about,” Eggert explained. “But the gray area is the hardest because you don’t know what’s happening… when I’m doing the treatment, I feel like I’m doing something productive.”

“There are good days. There are bad days. It’s a roller coaster,” she told Entertainment Tonight. “It’s a wild ride that I never wanted to take. So sometimes I’m fine… It is what it is. But I just live. I just try to stay positive every day and keep going.”

She revealed her cancer diagnosis in January. “I have a 12-year-old daughter at home where I am the only caregiver. I don’t have family. I have nothing,” she told the magazine.
