A highlight of Vila Isabel, Paula will mark ten years of parading in Sapucaí in 2024 and spoke about what it’s like to be considered one of the muses of the avenue at 62.

Dubbed the “Granny Muse” by commentator Milton Cunha, she is confident and self-assured. In an interview with the Rio newspaper “Extra”, she discussed the topic. “I can be sensual, wear sheer clothing, and that doesn’t erase my character, my professional and personal life. I’m 62 years old and I don’t want to look like I’m 20. I value health and quality of life,” she shared.

“Samba is democratic, there’s room for everyone. The important thing is to respect those who came before. Today, my image shows that age is not a limiter for anything”.
