The 53-year-old media personality, who hosts a morning show on Heart radio, revealed that she decided to get her first tattoo: two minimalist fine-line hearts as a tribute to her two daughters, Lexi and Holly.
However, she surprised everyone by sharing that her husband’s reaction wasn’t as positive as she had expected. “My 18-year-old daughter was home, and I had made a roast for dinner. I was pretending to wipe my forehead because my tattoo is actually just on my wrist. Because, you know, I was sort of stuck at the stove while talking to Chris.”
“I had my hand like this, nothing. Anyway, Holly was going crazy because she was obviously there when I got the tattoo, which didn’t hurt and took less than 30 seconds.”
“Anyway, in the end, we told Chris. First, he said it looked fake. Then he said it looked tacky. And third, he said, ‘Oh, what’s next? Where else are you going to get one? What else are you going to do?'” she laughed as she shared.
In the comments, fans had fun with the situation. “I love it. I got one when I was 59, a little late to the party,” wrote one follower. “I’m with Chris… sorry,” admitted another. “Probably the smallest tattoo ever done,” joked a third user.
