Alessandra Ambrosio shared a video showing what she did to maintain her impeccable physique before shining on the runway of the Victoria’s Secret Fashion Show.

“Fueling my mind and body. Before the main event comes a lot of preparation!” she wrote in the caption of the clip where she showcases the diet and workout routine she followed six days before the big event.

The former Angel of Victoria’s Secret revealed that she eats eggs and avocado on toast and usually adds bacon, but she was avoiding meat to ensure she would be in her best shape.

“I’m trying to be healthy,” she said, before sharing that she was about to work out for the second time that day. “I’ll be working out again soon because that’s my daily routine for the show.”

The model was then filmed going to the gym, running on the treadmill, and doing some core exercises on the floor. After that, she was seen strengthening her arms with weights and resistance bands and working out her legs using ankle weights.

As a post-workout treat, she shared a recipe for a protein shake that includes “good fats” like avocado, along with spirulina and cocoa. “For the show, I make sure to focus on lean proteins and vegetables,” Ambrosio explained while dining on a plate of grilled salmon with asparagus.

In 2017, after 17 years working with the brand, Ambrosio decided to step away from her role as an Angel of Victoria’s Secret to spend more time with her children, Anja, 16, and Noah, 12, from her previous marriage to Jamie Mazur, which ended in 2018.
