Colombian influencer Yeferson Cossio, who has over 28 million followers on Instagram and TikTok, underwent lower limb lengthening surgery to stretch his legs and gain an additional 15 centimeters in height, as he was not satisfied with his 1.70-meter body.
“Yes, my legs are beautiful, but I hate them… I am embarrassed like almost all humans about some parts of my body and have a few hundred million pesos to use here to change it.”
Yeferson spent $175,000 on the “most painful surgery ever,” which involves breaking the patient’s bones, inserting a metal rod, and using an external device that slowly separates the space between the bones by a total of one millimeter per day.
In other words, his legs were painfully lengthened for 152 days, or 6 months, to reach a height of 1.80 meters. The influencer mentioned that the surgery had a purely “esthetic” purpose, and now he will have to undergo physical therapy treatments to adapt.
