Digital influencer and adult film star Lina Bina, also known by her stage name Miss John Dough, has been found dead at the age of 24 in the U.S. state of Florida.
The news was confirmed on Tuesday (12), but her death occurred last week, just five days after her final social media post, which moved thousands of fans.
With over half a million followers on X (formerly Twitter), Lina shared a message on August 1 that sparked concern: “Sorry for disappearing, I’m going through a lot right now.” The post received hundreds of replies from fans expressing support and encouragement.
Singer Coco Bliss shared an update at the request of the actress’s family, clarifying the circumstances of her death:
“The family asked me to correct what really happened to Lina. Unfortunately, she underwent surgery to remove blood clots and didn’t make it. It was not because of a third facelift. For those asking when or where her funeral will be, the family has decided to invite only close relatives. Please keep praying for them at this time. Rest in peace, beautiful,” she wrote.
According to the Polk County Medical Examiner’s Office, Lina passed away last Tuesday, just days after the post that drew so much attention. Since then, fans and family members have shared heartfelt messages in tribute to the young woman.
Lina’s cousin, Miguel Santiago, expressed his grief on TikTok:
“It’s so tragic, it’s so unbelievable… keep your family close, because you never know when it will be the last time you talk to them. I just can’t believe she’s gone. It’s crazy.”
Another relative also shared their pain on social media:
“Lina is also my cousin on my father’s side. The whole family is devastated right now. Praying that her mother and father can get through this.”
The case has received widespread international attention and sparked discussions about health, well-being, and the pressures faced by influencers and public figures on social media.
